Because of the discrepancy between where the user looks (on the screen) and where the actual webcam is (typically above the screen), your video chat partner usually seems to be not looking at you, avoiding eye contact. The Eye Contact feature adjusts the image to correct this.

 

The amount of angular correction may be adjusted using the slider that appears when this feature is enabled.


To further improve the results click the 'Adapt face mask' button. 


 A window opens, which allows you to adjust the width and height of the face mask. Make sure it matches the size of your face. CatchEye will remember your settings.
